Originating in Mareeba, the Tablelands Organic Garden Energy Exchange is a non-commercial network of like minded people committed to assisting each other on a regular basis, to establish or maintain ORGANIC food growing areas.
It is envisaged that working bees to exchange labour, resources and knowledge will occur on a rotational basis for two to three hours, once a month.

At each event we plan to also have a short workshop to assist in passing on useful information related to gardening and processing the harvest of our gardens.

Working bees will begin in the garden at 7:00am (to miss the heat of the Sun) followed by a relaxing shared meal, then a short workshop and then some fun music.
